There was a thread about Nature's Renewal and I posted this 5 minute idea build, but people there would rather just argue back and forth and try to point out their superiority over someone else instead of actually giving some feedback.

Anyways, let me know your thoughts on this. It'd be most effective against clustering spirit spammers and healing balls. Also keep in mind, we're going after the concept. I spent 5 minutes working on this

What about....

2 N/R's
3 N/Mo's
2 Me/Mo's
1 55/105 Mo/X

.

This is just a quick.. "hey, that sounds cool" idea. It requires an advanced team of number crunchers.

In the beginning, the 55/105 monk gets set up and runs off.

The rest of the group swarm the group of spirits and clustering spammers. The 2 N/R's drop Edge of Extinction (the 2nd is to protect against disruption). The 3 N/Mo's start preparing Death Nova and start sacrificing health to allow for suicide. The moment the first N drops, the Me/Mo's with max fast casting toss Vengeance onto the dead N's. The N's then use Contemplation of Purity (took a while to find this) at which point they die again (Vengeance is an enchantment and CoP removes all enchantments from you.. so you die again). By now, you SHOULD have a pretty massive chain reaction as there's been 6 deaths pretty damn quick.. which is most likely going to be 10 deaths in quick succession (the N/R's and Me/Mo's). The 55/105 monk is just to insure that your team wins, in case they're caught in range of an Edge of Extinction. Their damage is nullified to 5.

hmmmm reminds me of an old old suicide squad. hell knows where it was from. somewhere on these forums.
you got loads of mo/me, then used illusion of weakness (probably bip is better with vampiric weapon) to kill yourself, then having two monks res everyone with unyielding aura. then run into battle, and have the monks kill themselves, thus resulting in a team wipe. its more instant than that one above but you only get one maybe if the mo did change to necros for bip they could use nova and hope for the best.

This would really piss off japanese players. Nevertheless, I like the idea of completely ganking a team who is mostly likely going to call you a bunch of "n00bs" for your toon selection. "OMFG WTF LOL!!!!11 YOU N00BS WILL NEVER WIN ROFL!!!" *BOOM* "WTF?"

They're fun but relatively ineffective. Too much can go wrong. When they go right though it's just hilarious.

The 55/105 numbers relate to the 'health' of the monk (either 55 or 105).

Do a search for '105 monk' and you'll find all you ever wanted to know about them.

i once was in the version of burial mounds with the doors, and when we beat our first team it just said 'flawless victory'

i can only conclude there was a bomb team around, but it was worth a laugh even though we didnt see them

Yeah, I've also seen a suicide team run in and gank themselves by mistake lol

But I've also seen one run into where my team (a PuG) was fighting another and before anyone knew what was happening everything exploded, an all Necro team with atleast one hanging back to start a BIG putrid chain.

Killed both teams in less than I want to say 10-15 seconds.

16 death magic putrid and death nova ftw!

this would be fun as a joke build, have 6 necros bring all sacrifices, and one which makes them bleed/poison degen of some kind. (use sup runes to make the bleed kill you nice n fast) then have them all suicide while in that 60 second wait period before a fight, and summon a zillion fiends, then LoD to res them all. that way when you enter the fight you have dp (easier to bomb out) and an army premade

someone should try it out

I forget the name, but there was a group doing this in HoH. Dying beforehand to raise a minion army.

How do you guys think this would fare against a spirit spamming or healing ball group?

It basically can be trained and it basically kills like a zerg rush, just faster.

however theres a lot of defenses against suicide rush... the simplest is just to split up widely, most newbies do this anyways.

I was on their team once. lol. It didnt work well when I was with them. Took us forever to kill those ghosts in the beginning.

105 monk doesn't work here. Natures renewal rips everything away from this build. Same with every other enchants that you bring. If you want my advice then it could work if you interrupt each and every natures renewal.
